The Vanika Vaisya Mahila Federation is one of the strong subsidiary organizations of the Sangham registered under Charitable Societies Act in 1986 vide No. 567/86. The KVVMF organises activities involv­ing the women community for community organization work as well as their own upliftment. The Mahila Federation launched a Micro Credit Unit Scheme in co-operation with the State Bank of Travancore named as “Vanisree Micro Credit Scheme” in November 2008 for the benefit of the poor women community of the Sangham in the State. The present Mahila Swayam Sahaya Sangham Units were transformed as Vanisree Micro Credit Units and fresh Vanisree Units are being started at various parts of the state.

The Mahila Federation has a State Committee, District Committees and Branch Committees.


Membership:

Women belongs to any of the Communities viz. Vanika Vaisya, Vaniya, Vaniyan, Vaniyar, Vaisya Chetty, Vanibha Chetty, Chettiar, Vaniya Chetty, Ayiravar, Nagarathar, Ganika, Mooppar, Gandhala, Tailik (All the Member Communities of All India Tailik Sahu Mahasabha) are eligible to get Membership in Kerala Vanika Vaisya Mahila Federation.
Membership Fee Rs. 5/- per Member, Annual Renewal Subscription Rs.5/-

The Mahila Federation has a State Committee, District Committees and Branch (Sakha) Committees

Fee to be paid to State Committee for Branch Registration = Rs.100/- per Branch.
